Large Arch

Description

The arch was created by English Sculptor Henry Moore and is 20 feet tall, 12 feet wide and weighs 5 and ½ tons in 1971. It was sandcast in bronze in 50 sections in West Germany. He was inspired by nature and created the centerpiece for the library plaza as a sculpture that could be walked through and around. Learn even more at the kid-at-art web site, go here.
